PM 093 CHINA The Good Earth, Crouching Tiger Hidden
Dragon, Hollywood goes Chin.
Larry Dean/R-VCR
The Good Earth was one of the first films that my uncle-in-the-biz
worked on. Produced by MGM studios, it was a grand classic interpretation
of the Pearl S. Buck novel of traditional pre-WWII life, with
considerable footage shot on location in China (pre-communist
when such things could be done there). Use this authentic music
for your next ethnic Chinese spectacular.
